Fishing on Smyth Lake Surprise Lake Canada, ON	Link  |   |  FCPOK    It was recommended that Smyth Lake no longer be considered a viable Lake Trout lake. It was recommended that Smyth Lake be managed as a Smallmouth Bass fishery and continue as a “put, grow and take” Rainbow Trout fishery through stocking.
