Fishing on Stony Lake Canada, ON, Peterborough, North Kawartha	Link  |   |  FCSWH    nice thing about Stony Lake is that it is so picturesque with a lot of really nice private cottages for rent - a bonus if the entire family is staying to vacation for a week. I've stayed at the Viamede Resort and the Irwin Inn before ...very very nice. Close to Peterborough ( and the GTA ),so not really what you might consider ' up north '. And, it has an ample amount of all the fish you might want to go after.
