The Makami River is located west of the community of Gogama, and is a natural watercourse that discharges into Minisinakwa Lake. It is a relatively undisturbed and winding river system with many associated wetlands. These aquatic features, along with the surrounding dense riparian forests, are home to many species of plants and animals. |
