Arkansas Game and Fish reports two giant catfish caught in Lake Conway

What is going on in Lake Conway? Arkansas Game and Fish posted this image on its Instagram page yesterday, and we on the staff at Arkansas Times have questions. Namely:

What time of night is best to hook a monster catfish? The wee hours of pre-dawn, like catching a meteor shower? Or straight-up midnight?

We sure there’s not some interspecies DNA involved here? Lake Conway kinda has a history.

At around 50 lbs. each — and assuming you were employing the talents of an experienced chef — how many people could this pair o’ bottom dwellers feed at a fish fry? Are they even good eatin’? How much tartar sauce would be an appropriate amount in this situation?
