Первый лед дает прекрасную возможность освоить ловлю без насадки. Именно в этот период хищники азартно безрассудны и жадны до любой «блестяшки», двигающейся под тонким прозрачным льдом. В это время и окунь, и щука прощают магазинным дешевым мормышкам и блеснам вульгарную их грубость подделки, неестественный блеск и странность игры, где ошибка в балансировке придает приманке хромоту и скособоченность.

Но хищник, словно опьяненный праздником перволедья, не видит этого и еще яростней бросается на эту явно больную рыбку.

Ловля на мормышку без наживки имеет свои особенности и заметные отличия от знакомой с детства бесхитростной рыбалки с червяком или мотылем. И эти отличия нередко создают трудности для рыболова в освоении ловли на безмотылку. По крайней мере, на первом этапе. Первый же лед дает фору новичку…
